Camp Cards

Camp Cards, previously known as the Makahiki Discount card, are HERE! This year’s sale on Oahu will kick off on Feb. 13 and go through April 28th.  Mahalo to our vendors participating on this year’s Oahu card.  

Camp Card Coordinators if you haven’t already, please contact takiya.chen@scouting.org  to confirm your participation.  Camp cards are a great way to raise dollars for your unit and can be used to provide the necessary funds needed for summer and fall camping programs.  Cards will be sold for $10 each with 50% of the proceeds kept with the unit and 50% returned to the council.  

All Prize forms are due NO LATER THAN May15, 2023. Any prize forms turned in AFTER May 15, 2023 WILL NOT be counted.

Why Sell Camp Cards?

• Camp Cards (discount cards) are a great way to earn money for your unit and the Aloha Council
• Each $10 Camp Card sold directly benefits your unit, with 50% of the proceeds ($5 per card sold) going back to your unit to help mitigate the cost of camp for your Scouts! 
• Provides a great opportunity for Scouts to learn fundraising, build confidence, and earn their way to camp! Afterall, a Scout is resourceful! 

Storefronts

Store Fronts are a great way to sell multiple cards at one time! Please feel free to contact stores on your own to get approval for to do store front at that location. If you are going to contact stores, please CC your District Executive or Takiya Chen so that we may assist if needed. There will be some council provided locations as well.
