Distinguished Citizen Dinner - Oahu

Since 1983, the Boy Scouts of America, Aloha Council has presented Hawaii’s Distinguished Citizen Award to an outstanding community leader. As one of the original recognition dinners in Honolulu, this annual event recognizes excellence and the promotion of Scouting ideals. Its list of previous honorees is a Who’s Who of Honolulu.

Due to the circumstances of COVID-19, the Aloha Council will not present a Distinguished Citizen Award in 2020.
However, the 110-year old Aloha Council, whose geographic territory stretches from throughout the Hawaiian Island chain and through the South Pacific, continues to deliver the world’s most recognizable youth development and leadership program.

In this unusual and extraordinary year, we ask for your continued financial support of this important community program. With the help and commitment of friends like you, the Scouting program will continue for another century in Hawaii—helping boys and girls on their path to becoming leaders of tomorrow.
