Oahu - University of Scouting

WHAT IS UNIVERSITY OF SCOUTING?

The University of Scouting is a supplemental training event designed to provide advanced learning opportunities for adult volunteers, regardless of experience. It’s like a one-day “scouting school” where participants can choose from a variety of classes focused on different aspects of scouting, such as leadership skills, outdoor activities, youth development, and program management.

This one-day event is open to all adult volunteers and offers different “colleges” or areas of focus so participants can select the courses that best meet their needs and interests. It’s also a great way to learn new skills, share experiences with other scout leaders, and become better equipped to support youth in their scouting journey.

This is an "Adult Only" event.  Each participant may register for up to 5 classes of your choice (you may mix and match between all three colleges - Cubs, Scouts BSA and General studies).  Course catalog available below.
