Maui Nui Golf Tournament
Mahalo for joining us for the 1st Annual Maui Nui Golf Tournament!
In the early morning hours on Saturday, April 30th, a field of over 100 golfers and 30+ volunteers of Scouts and parents from Troops 1, 18, and 100, were at the Dunes at Maui Lani Golf course for the inaugural fundraiser golf tournament for the Maui Nui District – Aloha Council BSA. The event spear headed by a committee consisting of community leaders Buddy Nobriga, Patrick Saka, and Ted Kesagi led by staff advisor, Julie Evans, Maui Nui District Director, featured exciting games on the course, prizes for all participants, onolicious food and drink served throughout the day, and the opportunity for the participants to have a fun day on the golf course all the while supporting the Scouting program here in Maui. With 8 major event sponsors, 66 prize and food sponsors, and 30 tee/hole sponsors the event was well received and supported! We look forward to next year’s event and seeing all of the Maui community once again come out to support Scouting in Maui Nui.
