Scoutreach
What is Scoutreach?
Scoutreach gives special leadership and emphasis to urban and rural Scouting programs. Scoutreach is the Aloha Council's commitment to making sure that all young people have an opportunity to join Scouting, regardless of their circumstances, neighborhood, or ethnic background.
Mission of Scoutreach
The Mission of ScoutREACH is to ensure at-risk and minority youth from economically challenged and/or culturally diverse neighborhoods have the opportunity to join Scouting where they will learn the Scouting values including: building character, community service, self-reliance, leadership and teamwork. The mission is accomplished through recruiting strong adult role models and establishing solid relationships with community partners.
