Camp Alan Faye

Located in the high, cool mountains of Kokee State Park on the island of Kauai, adjacent to the famous Waimea Canyon, is Camp Alan Faye. Named for the former 40-year manager of the Waimea Sugar Company, this camp encompasses 29 acres and offers views of the lush Kalalau Valley from 2,400 feet elevation. Thirteen miles from the town of Waimea, the area is rich with many of Hawaii’s endangered species, Native Hawaiian trees, local plants and many wild birds.

Camp Alan Faye is a District-led program with staff and volunteer support. Campers bring their own tents for sleeping and food for cooking at their campsite.
