FAQs
What is the Summertime Adventure?
A Council-wide summer activity program encouraging Cub Scouts to stay active, have fun with family and friends, and grow Scouting over the summer months.
Who can participate?
All registered Cub Scouts (Lions through Webelos).
How many activities are required?
Scouts must complete at least 30 activities between June 1 and August 31, 2026.
Do activities before June 1 count?
No. Activities completed before June 1, 2026 should not be counted.
What does the 🤝 Buddy icon mean?
Activities marked with 🤝 are great to do with a friend and encourage the buddy system.
What patches do Scouts earn?
Scouts who complete the checklist earn the 2026 Summertime Adventure Patch and year rocker.
What is the Recruiter Adventure?
If a Scout invites a friend who joins Cub Scouts over the summer, the Scout earns the Aloha Council Recruiter Patch and both Scouts receive the Summertime Patch.
When and where is the checklist due?
Return completed checklists to the Aloha Council Scout Shop no later than September 17, 2026.
