Aloha Council NESA Chapter
Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle
The Hawai‘i chapter of the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) brings Eagle Scouts together for friendship, service, and networking.
Open to those who earned their Eagle Scout rank in Hawaii or currently reside in the state, this chapter fosters lifelong connections and leadership opportunities. Through mentorship, community involvement, and exclusive events, members can continue their Scouting journey while making a meaningful impact in Hawaii.
Examples of NESA activities:

- Volunteering for annual service projects at camp properties and throughout the community
- Assisting with the annual Eagle Scout Banquet, recognizing over 100 Aloha Council Scouts who earn the Eagle Rank each year

Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet
The Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet, made possible by annual $25,000 contribution from Dr. Thomas & Mi Kosasa, is a time-honored celebration of resilience and achievement, spotlighting Hawaii’s newest Eagle Scouts and the next generation of leaders. As a sponsor, you’ll play an essential role in an evening dedicated to mentorship, connection, and inspiration, bringing together young Scouts and accomplished Eagle leaders. This event offers sponsors a unique opportunity to support youth leadership, foster meaningful relationships, and reinforce your brand’s commitment to community, service, and excellence.
Eagle Scout Award Recipients
Hawaii's Distinguished Eagle Scout Award Recipients (DESA)
The NESA Distinguished Eagle Scout Award (DESA) is a national recognition given by the National Eagle Scout Association. It honors Eagle Scouts who have achieved exceptional distinction in their professional careers and have demonstrated significant service to their community for at least 25 years after earning the rank of Eagle.
It’s one of the highest honors in Scouting—meant to highlight Eagle Scouts whose lifelong impact extends well beyond Scouting into leadership, service, and accomplishment in broader society.
